Hello, and welcome back. How long has it been since I posted something on here? *checks notes* GOOD GOLLY ! Two whole years. I'm so sorry. Where have I've been? Absent. There is no excuse, but like the title suggests, I wrote a book.
If I knew what I was doing I would have been keeping you updated. This thing has been hanging around my head for years. It all started in 2010, in a time where Facebook was still pretty new and hardly anyone had a smart phone. I was heartbroken and needed an outlet, so I turned my life story into a novel. After writing 10 pages I was done. It sat on the virtual shelf for a decade. Life got in the way. Hey, I was busy.
This year 2023, I took it out, dusted it off and got to cracking. Then..... I quit again. I was about half way done at that point but wanted to shift to screenwriting since that was my main goal anyway. I banged out a few scripts when the WGA strike happened. I don't belong to the guild but I know there was nothing I could do at this point. Back to the drawing board, well the board where you do writing. What I'm saying is, I had this thing just sitting there waiting to escape.
Every single day I wrote at least two pages a day. I really got into the flow! Mid-August I finished it. Then it took some time to review and edit it. In September I designed the cover and finally published the darn thing! It was exciting.
